‘Annan Thampi’ to start this nine

'Annan Thampi', the film in which Mammootty is donning the double role after a couple of years will start its shooting by January Nine.

The film to be directed by 'Raajamanikyam' fame Anwar Rasheed will have Lakshmi Rai as the heroine.

Mammootty will join the sets of the film by the 13th of this month after completing the present schedules of' 'Pazhaasi Raja' and 'Vande Maatharam'.

'Annan Thampi' is scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam who has created hits like 'Kalyana Raman' and 'Chotta Mumbai'.

The film is planned as a Vishu release, which will clash with Sathyan Anthikkad’s Mohanlal starrer.
